This website collects nothing about you. That is the whole policy. The rest of this page explains what it means and where the edges are.
What this site does not do
There are no cookies. There is no analytics, no tracking pixel, and no advertising network of any kind.
No script on this site sends anything anywhere. There is no form on any page, so there is nothing here that can collect what you type.
Nothing is loaded from another company. Every image, font and script comes from this site itself, so nothing here reports your visit to an advertiser, an analytics service or a social network. Two things do see you: the company that hosts the site, below, and any site you choose to click through to.
What your own browser does
The site checks your browser for a light or dark preference you may have saved. If it finds none, it follows whatever your device already prefers.
That value stays on your device. This site never writes it, never sends it, and has no way to read it from anywhere else.
What our host can see
This site is served by a hosting company based in the United States. Like every web host, it receives the ordinary technical details of each request, including your IP address.
So your visit may be handled on a computer outside Canada, where local law applies and local authorities may be able to reach it.
We have not turned on log storage and we do not download request logs, so we never see them. What the host keeps, it keeps on its own terms.
When you email us
The only way to reach us from this site is email, and only you can send it. A contact link opens your own mail program with a message you write and send yourself. Nothing passes through this website.
When you write, we receive what you chose to put in the message: your name, your company, your email address, and whatever you tell us about your situation.
We use it to answer you and to carry on the conversation you started. We do not sell it, we do not pass it to anyone else, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
Our email runs on Google Workspace, so a message you send us is held by Google, a United States company. It may sit in the United States or in another country where Google operates, subject to the laws of that country.
We keep it while we are talking and afterwards as our own record of the exchange.
Our host and our email provider both do this for us, and it stays our responsibility.

If this changes
Everything above is a description of how the site is built today. The claims about cookies, scripts, storage, forms and outside loading are checked every time the site is rebuilt. If one of them stops being true, the site will not publish.
If we ever add something that collects — a form, an analytics tag, a mailing list — this page changes before that goes live. The date below is the day it last changed.
